Google Forms is a free online tool that is part of Harper’s Google Workspace platform. This easy-to-use tool can be utilized by faculty to engage students and evaluate their learning.

This workshop will introduce you to the basics of Google Forms, along with practical ideas for use in your course.

Here are some uses for Google Forms that were demonstrated in the workshop:

  • Bell-ringer/Exit Ticket 
  • Checking in with students 
  • Students share a link to a project or paper in a form
  • Create a form as a self-grading quiz
  • Student groups can collaborate on creating a form
  • Use the Blackboard discussion forums to have students share a project and have them include a Google form for their peers to give feedback
