The goal of Open Education Week is to raise awareness and showcase the impact of open education on teaching and learning worldwide. Open Education Week has become the foremost global event recognizing high achievement and excellence in open education.
This year’s event includes more than 150 presentations on open educational resources and open pedagogy from around the world. Events are in local time, so there are activities available throughout the day this week in a variety of languages.

If you’re looking for a good place to start learning more about open education, the keynote presentation from the November 2018 Illinois OER Summit held at College of DuPage is available online.
