This is one New Year’s resolution that’s easy to accomplish when you partner with the Library! Provide your students with the chance to learn critical library and information literacy skills they need here at Harper and beyond. We can provide students with:
- A 20-minute building tour
- An introduction to one or more research tools in preparation for an assignment
- Help with general skills such as developing research questions, choosing a search strategy, reading scholarly articles, evaluating information, etc.
- Overview of citation practices (or check out our new drop-in workshops later this semester!)
- And much more
We can work with your students in our Library classroom, in your own classroom, online (synchronous, asynchronous, HyFlex), or any combination of the above. Whether you have 20 minutes, 60 minutes, or even longer, we would love to help you and your students.
To request instruction, fill out our Instructional Request Form or email Jennifer Lau-Bond (jlaubond@harpercollege.edu), Coordinator of Library Instruction.
