In this session, data will be presented to shed light on the visible and invisible disabilities experienced by Harper students. Simple strategies will be shared that you can employ to improve the accessibility of course materials including audio/video files, Word documents, PowerPoint presentations, images, and tables. We will also introduce Ally, a new Blackboard tool that helps you to identify and fix accessibility issues. There will be a Fall 2020 pilot with Ally that you have the opportunity to participate in, starting with a workshop later in the fall semester.
