Next time you find yourself on the Library’s 3rd floor by the elevator outside the Academy doors (Building F, Room F317), be sure to stop and explore the Faculty Reads book display. The display showcases materials from the Library collection on a theme relating to education, teaching, learning, and more.

Currently, you can grab a book for some summer reading to learn more about DEI in higher education, avoiding microaggressions, handling difficult topics in the classroom, the history of Social Justice in Education, and more. There’s even a list of ebooks you can read from off campus.

The display theme changes throughout the year, so be sure to check it out each time you’re nearby!

Interested in the display but can’t make it to campus? Our Faculty Reads page will list current and past materials.

If you have questions about the materials, or if you have suggestions for future displays, email Jennifer Lau-Bond, Coordinator of Library Instruction, at jlaubond@harpercollege.edu.
