Help your students get ahead!

Did you know that Harper students need help learning how to read and interpret graphs and tables? In fact, our most recent General Education Quantitative Reasoning assessment showed that many students—even those with 45+ credit hours—have trouble comparing two graphs.
How can you help?
- We’ve developed a fun online quiz for students, which connects them to graphing resources while giving them a chance to win a gift card. Send the quiz to your students, or help even more by giving them 5 minutes in class to complete it. The better they do on the quiz, the more chances they have to win!
- Use these resources in your classes, or post them in Blackboard for students to use.
- You don’t use graphs in your classes? Learn more about how you can help students with their quantitative reasoning skills—even if you don’t teach “quantitative” courses—at the “Graphs and Tables are More Than Just Pictures” session during Orientation Week in January!
