Teaching With Geospatial Technologies and Drones

August 16 @ 10:00 am - 10:50 am

Maps and images have always played a crucial role in the classroom; geospatial technology (GPS, GIS, Remote Sensing) is vastly expanding our ability to understand, analyze, and interpret the world around us. This session will introduce you to geospatial technology tools (Google Earth, ArcGIS) and drones, and will help you incorporate these technologies into your teaching. No previous experience with geospatial technology or drones required!
