CoP Collaboration Workshops

December 6 @ 2:30 pm - 4:00 pm

Aligning Action Plans and Agendas: 2:30 p.m. – 3 p.m.
You are invited to a CoP workshop to explore recommended strategies for effective planning and facilitation of CoP meetings and projects. Come learn what globally recognized thought leaders on social learning groups advise for making the most of your time together. Stick around for some sharing, snacks, and social time—pillars of social learning systems—if you are able.

Sharing Your Recipes for Success!: 3 p.m. – 3:30 p.m.
In the spirit of the community aspect of CoPs and of upcoming holidays, we ask you to share your favorite techniques for making your CoPs work and, if you are inclined, share your cooking finesse as well. You are welcome to bring a recipe and/or sample of your fare but certainly are not required to bring anything to partake; some festive treats will be provided in case everyone is too busy to cook! A coffee and cocoa bar will be provided as well.

Productive Discord in Discourse: 3:30 p.m. – 4 p.m.
Gather in this cozy workshop to discuss how to work with discord to strengthen discourse in our CoP program. Share a warm beverage while examining strategies that can make CoP meetings supportive environments in which academics utilize differing perspectives to synthesize deeper understandings. A variety of flavorings will make our beverages more delectable just as diverse frameworks enrich our experiences and advance our work.
