Are textbook costs creating a barrier for students from succeeding in your class? The library’s Course Reserve Collection can help. Materials placed on reserve by instructors assure their availability and accessibility for class use. The materials are supplied by the faculty or can be any materials in the library’s collection. Most items are checked out for two hours, in-library use only, though there are other loan periods available. The library wants to ensure fair use for all students that need to use reserve collection items.
If you are interested in putting an item on reserve for you class, you can fill out the Course Reserves Form on the library’s website.
The library also has paper copies of the reserve form at “The Desk” located on the second floor of the library. Materials supplied by the faculty member can be dropped off at the library or sent through interoffice mail to Amanda Oddo, Building F, Room F216.
If you have any questions about reserves, please feel free to contact Amanda Oddo at 847.925.6904, email@example.com.
