The interest in online courses continues to grow. Harper College recognizes the importance of providing faculty with training and resources for developing and delivering quality online courses. The Academy for Teaching Excellence provides training, support, course quality review services, and resources for both new and experienced faculty teaching online or blended courses at Harper College. Fun facts about online learning at Harper College:
- Online enrollment has increased 27% from 2015 to 2019, on average more than 6% each year.
- More than 40 new instructors have completed a Teaching Online Successfully course just this past year and are now eligible to teach a course online.
